Project Description | Capabilities
There are numerous tools and projects that are relevant.
The OPUS
project (http://logos.uio.no/opus/, has done a wonderful job of
creating an open source parallel corpus.
They link to many tools.
GIZA++ and SRILM are GPL applications for sentence alignment and
language modelling, respectively.
Currently we are using the
non-free Pharaoh statistical beam search machine translation
system, but would like to move to a free system if available.
- mantra/study should support the ability to teach skills to bi-lingual users in return for them translating the manuals.
